“I was born in Great Falls Montana, July 17 1958. I started making art when I was 2 years old. I would sit with my mom and draw cartoon like mean drawings of people. I have been drawing ever since. I learned a valuable lesson when I was young which was how to make art fun. That is the basic guideline I follow now is keeping art fun. If it’s not fun I don’t do it. I’m not saying art has to be candy and butterflies I am just saying that I need to be challenged and feel great about the art I am doing. I am currently working on pet portraits which might be thought of as cheesy by some but I love doing them and they are very challenging and people love them. They are very economical and I am getting quite a few orders so I am staying alive now through my pet portraits. Up until now I have done everything I can to keep my soul and wallet alive from cityscapes to portraits. I have also been doing performance art as mangina for the last 12 years. I wear a virtually real vagina utilizing my own genitalia interacting with female genitals (mine that is). In other words I use my scrotum as labia and call it the lotum. This is kind of insane but I interact with people and it has been a powerful performance. So that’s me in a nut shell …pardon the pun! I make sculture, performance art, painting and writing.
